On average we drink between 3 to 5 liters of water per day but expose ourselves to in excess of 100 liters of contaminated municipal water whilst showering. As concluded by the American Journal of health -
“up to two thirds of harmful chlorine and bacteria exposure is as a consequence of our skin absorbing water during bathing and showering”
It has never been more important than it is now to take control of the water we use in our homes. The reality is the quality of water we use in our homes poses a very real health risk to our families. This reality has made it absolutely necessary for us to introduce the means to filter and purify all the water we use throughout our homes. If we want to continue enjoying the convenience offered by using municipal water, we have no choice but to filter and purify ALL the water used in the home. This can be easily and economically done by using a point of entry, whole house water filtration and purification system.
Myamanzi now offers the Home Spring point of entry, whole house water filtration and purification system. The Home Spring’s 0.1 micron filters will filter all suspended sediment as well as remove all harmful bacteria and chemicals from municipal water. The Home Spring is housed in its own self-contained cabinet and can be conveniently installed either indoors or outdoors. The Home Spring is simply plumbed into the homes incoming mains connection. By using the homes existing plumbing the Home Spring distributes spring quality water to every tap throughout the home.
The Home Spring provides the home owner with a flow rate of 2400 liters per hour. The Home Spring will filter seven hundred and fifty thousand liters of water between filter changes. This means that, on average for a family of four, the filters would need to be replaced every two years. The Home Spring will provide the entire home with spring quality water for as little as R 167.00 per month or less than 0.6c per liter.
The Home Spring MKI is a whole home water filtration system that’s ideal for someone needing, an inexpensive, easy to use, manual standalone water filtration and purification system. The flushing of the filters for the Home Spring MKI is done manually by the user. Filter replacement is a quick and easy job that does not require a specialist and can be easily done by the user. A manual bypass allows the user to isolate the Home Spring during filter changes or maintenance.
The Home Spring MKII is a fully automated, whole home water filtration system. The MKII provides the user with a WiFi interface as well as a mobile app for monitoring and control purposes. The MKII’s mobile app will allow the user to monitor pre and post filtration water quality levels. The MKII will automatically monitor filter performance and automatically flush system when it’s necessary. The MKII will also notify the user on when to replace the filters. Should a JoJo water storage facility be available the MKII will automatically draw water from the JoJo if the municipal water supply has been interrupted. The MKII will provide an automatic bypass when filters are being changed or the system is being serviced.
